Kopin Receives First Production Order for 4 Megapixel SLM System

09:29 AM EDT, 08/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kopin (KOPN) said Monday it received its first production purchase order for the 4 Megapixel 2K-R11 FLCoS Spatial Light Modulator system to use in 3D automated optical inspection machines.
The 2K-R11 offers four times the resolution of typical 1K systems, enabling precise measurement of smaller components and improved inspection speed, Kopin said.
Financial details were not disclosed.
Kopin shares were up 3.7% in recent premarket activity.
