Amneal Pharmaceuticals Says US FDA Approves Generic Drug Application for Propofol

08:32 AM EDT, 08/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amneal Pharmaceuticals (AMRX) said Tuesday that its abbreviated new drug application for the single-dose formulation of anesthetic propofol has gained approval from the US Food and Drug Administration.
The company said it expects to launch propofol in Q4.
Shares of the company were up 1.4% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
