PagSeguro Digital (PAGS) shares fell 12% in recent trading Wednesday, a day after the company reported Q2 earnings that rose less than expected by analysts.
In the quarter ended June 30, earnings climbed to 1.56 Brazilian reais ($0.28) a share from 1.18 reais a year earlier, the company said Tuesday.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected 1.57 reais.
Total revenue and income rose to 4.56 billion reais from 3.83 billion reais a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected 4.36 billion reais, if applicable.
