Teledyne Technologies Subsidiary Wins $114 Million US Missile Defense Contract

08:50 AM EDT, 08/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Teledyne Technologies (TDY) subsidiary Teledyne Brown Engineering said Friday it was awarded a $114 million contract by the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command.

Under the terms of this task order, Teledyne Brown said it will design, build, and launch dummy ballistic target missiles for use in testing advanced missile defense systems.

The Tactical Range Air Defense Missile 2 follow-on contract providing target missiles since 2014 will extend through March 2028, Teledyne Brown said, adding it will introduce new designs and enhanced capabilities under this contract.
