CAVA Group Posts Strong Q2 Results, Joins Bilibili, Workday And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Friday

U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index falling around 300 points on Friday.

Shares of CAVA Group, Inc. (NYSE:CAVA) rose sharply during Friday’s session as the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results on Thursday.

Cava Group reported quarterly earnings of 17 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 12 cents by 41.67%. Quarterly sales clocked in at $233.495 million, beating the analyst consensus estimate by 7% and representing a 35.05% increase from the same period last year.

CAVA Group jumped 17% to $119.37 on Friday.

• Valhi, Inc. (NYSE:VHI) gained 13.2% to $27.66.
• Bilibili Inc. (NASDAQ:BILI) rose 12.5% to $14.57 after Barclays upgraded the stock from Equal-Weight to Overweight and raised its price target from $14 to $19.
• Workday, Inc. (NASDAQ:WDAY) gained 10.6% to $255.66 as the company upbeat earnings for the second quarter.
• NexGen Energy Ltd. (NYSE:NXE) rose 10.1% to $6.39.
• Roku, Inc. (NASDAQ:ROKU) gained 9% to $67.35. Guggenheim analyst Michael Morris upgraded Roku from Neutral to Buy.
• BW LPG Limited (NYSE:BWLP) rose 7.5% to $16.73.
• Lumen Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:LUMN) climbed 7.3% to $6.48.
• AST SpaceMobile, Inc. (NASDAQ:ASTS) rose 6.4% to $36.37.
• Powell Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ:POWL) gained 6% to $188.75.
