CGI Offers $553.4 Million in Private Placement

06:44 AM EDT, 09/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CGI (GIB) said late Tuesday that it is offering 750 million Canadian dollars ($553.4 million) in senior unsecured notes through private placements with agencies across Canada.
The offering consists of CA$300 million in 3.987% interest 3-year notes and CA$450 million in 4.147% interest 5-year notes, CGI said. It is expected to be completed on or about Thursday.
CGI said it expects proceeds of CA$746.1 million to be used to refinance debt, including $350 million in senior unsecured notes maturing on Sept. 12, and general corporate purposes.
